Today, let’s continue to talk about how to decorate your Shopify store, from the settings of gift cards, discount codes, social media, blogs, pop-ups, emails, customer service and so on.
Gift Card
For customers who don’t know what product to buy, a gift card or discount card is a good idea. By assigning a specific amount to each card, the cumulative amount can be used to exchange for the specified product.
Sellers can buy their own gift card while selling other products, and customers who have just purchased a card from your store can also receive a gift card. Gift card are a great way to boost sales.
How to do it: go to the product on the sidebar menu > create a gift card, and then click “sell gift cards.”

But you need a higher version of Shopify plan to use this feature.
After upgrading, go to this page:

Once you have created the variant, you can save the gift card to the online store area under the “Visibility”. Gift cards can also be sent based on customer loyalty.
Discount Codes
Using discount codes, customers can purchase products at a lower price. By giving visitors a relevant offer, you can turn more visitors into customers and increase sales.

Go to Discounts in the side menu and click “Add discount.” Fill in the details, eligibility terms, and usage limits so the code is not overused.
After creating the discount code, promote it in your store before it can be used in a transaction.
Promote on social media: Share discount codes on the social platforms your customers use.
Blog post: Publish a blog post explaining the offer and how to use the code, then share that post to attract relevant traffic.
Create pop-ups: Pop-ups can help build an email list and direct visitors to specific pages.
Send email to subscribers: If the offer is for subscribers, deliver the code through your email marketing platform and use it to encourage sign-ups.
Discount codes can help drive sales and increase store revenue, but avoid offering them indiscriminately because excessive discounting can reduce margins and weaken customer loyalty.
Set Customer Service Options
Although much of your Shopify store information is now set up, customers may still have questions while shopping.
Add a customer service option that lets you respond promptly. You can visit the Shopify App Store and choose a support solution that fits your business.
Start The Shop
Your store is now configured, but it may still be protected by a password while it is under construction.
Remove password protection before launching so your target audience can access the storefront.

Open the Preferences or store access settings, uncheck the password-protection option, and save the changes.
After completing these steps, your Shopify store is ready to launch and operate.
